This product is not waterproof and will not protect you from heavy rain. This product is water-repellent

This product is not suitable for mountain biking. Mountain biking requires a product that can withstand walking and abrasive vegetation. Mountain bike shoes will also be too big for this product

WATER SEEPING IN

If your cycling tights don’t have a water-repellent coating they are very likely to get soaked when riding in the rain. Even the best overshoes in the world won’t fix that. Your tights will be touching your socks and so the water will seep down into them.
This is why we at Van Rysel only sell winter cycling tights with a water-repellent membrane, such as our Racer cycling tights.
